WORKING
Gypsy/Travellers
used to move to follow seasonal work such as berry
picking, whelks and tatties, it could be a lot of hassle
but it was their way to make a living.
Much has changed since then as modern machinery
ploughs the fields and it's harder for us to get
traditional work.
Nowadays, many men have their own businesses - building,
trees and tarmacing, loads of things and go out looking
for work.
Most women are housewives looking after the home and
children - although many are having their own careers
now.
