Hello, my name is Shantelle-Marie, I am 15 years old and I live in Perthshire – I am a Traveller and I’m proud to be!

My hobbies are shopping, talking and getting dolled up! I love going to the Traveller fairs and meeting all my family and friends.

I am at my last year at school, and I am leaving in the summer to go to college, to go on a beauty course, so I can have qualifications so I can become a mobile beautician. The reason I want to become a mobile beautician so I can travel about when I am on the road and still have all my qualifications behind me. Because now-a-days, I don't want to be like the rest of the other young married travelling girls who look after the home.
